Adult Education

The highest form of worship is the study of the Word of God!

Our purpose with Adult Education at MAG is to equip the believer with the knowledge necessary to fulfill one's unique calling in the Witnessing Body of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Adult Education is offered weekly thru Sunday School, Wednesday night classes, and LifeHomes, and the Shabbat Seder.

Sunday School:

The Book of Hebrews:

The author urges believers not to remain as babes on the milk of the Word but to grow in grace and knowledge by desiring the sincere meat of the Word in order for them to become workers who need not be ashamed skillfully handling the Word of God.

Come, join us as we grow together, and build on the foundation already laid.

1st Century Service

This week's Triennial Torah Portion: Leviticus,

Reading from the Prophets,

(How do these two readings relate to each other?)

And readings from the Gospel of Mark.

Saturdays, 3:00- 5:00pm
Room 121

Join us in a First Century-derived Bible study/ Shabbat Seder!

We are observing the 1st century custom of reading a portion (parashah) from the Torah, and a related section from the Prophets.

The fellowship meeting is "derived" from the 1st century, because those early Believers in Jesus did not have the New Testament, and we make full use of it!

As the apostle Paul told Timothy:
"Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture,
to exhortation and teaching
(1 Timothy 4:13, NASB)

Acts 13:15 "And after the reading of the Law (Torah) and the Prophets
the synagogue officials sent to them saying, "Brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say it.
" (NASB)

Come and Participate!
Reading and teaching from Exodus, the Prophets, the Gospel of Matthew, and Communion.

Study to show thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
